6/17/15 - DAY 1: LA

Our first day of our vacay was a stop in Los Angeles, picking up my sister, Rachel, before we headed off to Canada. The day was mostly spent at the airport, being stuck in LA traffic and being given a tour of the CBS Entertainment Tonight/The Insider set where Rachel works. Unfortunately NO celebs spotted. Except I walked past McLovin, that was cool

While we were exhausted from traveling and touring around the CBS lot, my parents and I decided we should do at least one touristy-LA thing instead of wasting the whole day away so we decided to take a trip to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

A long day of traveling is exhausting so we went to meet my dad's friends, Rob and Amy, for lunch at one of the hottest celeb-sighting cafes in Los Angeles: Joans on Third. I was advised that it was one of James Franco's favorite restaurants, so I was crossing my fingers, but no stars to be seen :(
