02/03/16: First Friday
Going to February's First Friday made me wonder why I don't go to EVERY single one. First Friday is a festival/walk/gallery show that Railroad Square has on the first friday of every month. Different vendors, shops and galleries present what they've got to show for 3 hours which isn't nearly enough because it's so easily to get lost in some of these shops. Vintage clothes, cameras and music, all my favorite things. And don't forget the FOOD TRUCKS! Easily one of the best parts. They even have a vegetarian food truck, just for me.
This time I brought my big, Alanna and my little, Mandy, both first-timers. My drunk boyfriend and our friends ended up meeting us after happy hour so that was entertaining.
In the biggest store in railroad square, The Other Side, Alanna and I played Macklemore so I dressed her up in this fab leopard/cheetah old lady coat.
In the SOUP gallery, there was a little room with an itty bitty projector projecting some digital art. Alanna and I played Brooke Davis
We really loved this coat.
As most of my peeps know, I collect film cameras, never ever putting them to use. The Other Side sells vintage technology, particularly cameras, and I couldn't pass up a new addition.
My drunk friends looking at a vintage Playboy. Their forte.
