03/04/17: Lexi & Tyler pt. 1

Never thought I'd love photographing couples as much as I did, until my last couple shoot which happened to be an engagement shoot. My very first one!!! And hopefully not my last cause it really is such a privilege and an honor for two people to trust you so much to capture their love and connection simply in photographs. I love it so much that when I get engaged, I'll probs just put my camera on a tripod with a timer for my pictures.

The couple, Lexi and Tyler, wanted a two part engagement shoot, the first being at an abandoned truck cemetery and the second at FSU's Doak stadium. Tyler is a mechanic and Lexi is a student at FSU so the locations are a perfect way to showcase their character.

We're still trying to figure out the best time and day to get into the stadium so we conquered the truck cemetery first which was waaaaaaay more cool than I expected. It's a random little field with two rows of old, abandoned trucks right off a highway in Crawfordville. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive.

Who would have thought abandoned trucks would be perfect props for an engagement shoot?
