1/13/19: Parker Sloan
Creating art wise, last semester was really hard. The second half of fall 2018, my wrist was broken. This prevented me from not only doing classwork and homework properly, but executing my passion properly. I was in a creative block, not even able to shoot, but also not even wanting to shoot. I was unmotivated and I was discouraged.
This semester, I decided to clean all of that up and began doing what I loved again. Whether they reach out to me or I reach out to them, I love photographing aspiring models, especially during my free time in Tallahassee. There are some absoutely beautiful places and people in Tally, so I had to take advantage of that.
Here is a shoot I did the second week of the semester at this ridiculously gorgeous place called JR Alford Greenway. It's a breathtaking place, but the weather and clear skies heightened that. Parker is only a sophomore, but she knew how to work. a. CAMERA. She was so fun to shoot because she consistently switched it up and knew her angles. She wasn't afraid to try new and exciting poses/jumps. She wasn't even afraid to wear my clothes. Can't wait to shoot her again!
